Tall, narrow “Siegburger Schnelle” stein. Decorated with relief medallions depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments (Susanna at Her Bath, Mary Magdalene, Judith), a coat of arms with the date in a cartouche, and the inscription: “ALLEIN GOTT DIE EHER”. Off-white salt glaze. Besides the unusually light colour of the salt-treated surface of the stoneware, the local potter was also different for its uncommon forms: the Trichterhalsbecher, Siegburger Schnelle, Siegburger Pulle, and Siegburger Bartmannkrug with relief decorations.
